I'm so excited.... and I just can't hide it... I'm about to lose control and I think I like it... oh, yeah.
So much fun. So much fabric to choose from! I went to Michael Levine's today in the garment district of LA. I was a kid in a candy store. The first three fabrics are Amy Butler. Then, of course, is the sock monkey and this great blue/brown camouflage. The boys out there should be delighted. I will be using these fabrics to make some really cute romper outfits. I also found binding, ribbon, snaps, etc.
At a smaller store nearby I found these beautiful brocades in:
hot pink
sage green
orange
and pink
Then we ventured across the street to Michael Levine's upholstery and drapery, where on the 2nd floor they sell end of the bolt pieces for.....
$2.00 per POUND. That was strange and incredibly cool. So I was able to find some great fabrics to use in my living room for curtains and sofa pillows.
Well, I have lots to do. I'm going to take it easy this weekend. I have lots of other activities to take up my time anyways. Next week, specifically Tuesday, I will be working hard. I'm totally amped, inspired, excited... thanks for letting me share.
